Products and descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can, including dimensions and materials. Because many pieces involve wood and hand finishing, small variations in grain, colour and texture are natural and are not defects. Screen colours can also differ from the actual finish. If an exact shade or size matters to you, contact us before ordering.

Prices

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping is calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already placed. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your pincode, if payment fails, or if we suspect fraud. In every such case you receive a full refund.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We do not store card details. Orders are only processed once payment is confirmed.

Delivery

We ship across India. Delivery timelines given on the site are estimates in working days, not guarantees, and can be affected by courier delays, weather and other factors outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full details are on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched for a full refund. After delivery, returns are accepted within 7 days for unused items in original packaging, as set out in our Refund and Returns Policy. Custom-made pieces cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Warranty

Furniture carries a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects in joinery, hardware and finish under normal household use. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, unsuitable storage conditions, normal wear, or items that have been modified or repaired by someone else.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password confidential and let us know if you think it has been compromised. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. We may suspend accounts that are used abusively or fraudulently.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at scale, or post unlawful or offensive content in reviews or comments. We may remove content and restrict access where necessary.

Intellectual property

The Aurhaus name, our designs, product photographs and site content belong to us and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.

Liability

We stand behind our products and will always put right a fault that is our responsibility, through repair, replacement or refund. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to it.
